As 
background about myself, I have been a broker in California for 10 years and an attorney for 18 years.  I have significant experience with both commercial and residential Covina real estate.

Principally, I concentrate on residential properties in the San Gabriel Valley (Covina, West Covina, San Dimas, Glendora, Claremont, La Verne, and Upland), and in commercial properties on the Monterey Peninsula.  I have also represented residential buyers and sellers in Monterey, Pacific Grove & Salinas, although on a less frequent basis than my residential work in Southern California.  Also, because I maintain significant professional contacts in  Las Vegas, I occasionally close a commercial transaction there as well, with my last significant transaction being the sale of a Best Western motel in 2004.

My commercial work usually involves representing motel buyers and sellers.  In 2005,
I sold three motels totaling $13 million.  Virtually all of my commercial work has involved 1031 exchanges, so I am intimately familiar with 1031 exchange work. and you will find links to 1031 information and to exchange intermediaries that I trust and recommend. 

My residential work is usually centered in the San Gabriel Valley.  In 2005,
I closed 19 separate residential deals, worth $13.5 million, all of which, save one, were in Southern California.

In 2006 and 2007, my commercial and residential work overlapped as I assisted my clients in obtaining the requisite approvals to convert existing multifamily residential apartment buildings into condominiums.  The most recent involves a nineteen (19) unit building located in the  beautiful New Monterey area of the City of Monterey, CA.  Please contact me for assistance if you are considering converting your building to condominiums or if you have an partment building that you would like to consider selling.
